This week Kyle introduced us to the IxD502 module. He broke down the deliverables and explained the best way for us to successfully complete this module.
Design Presenting and Reporting
Enables students to develop pitching skills necessary to present their ideas in an industry context.
The module is worth 20 credits
Kyle recommended that we complete our portfolio site within the first few weeks of the module. The colophon should be completed in InDesign as it is the easiest to build on and also works best for printing. He advised that we should constantly think of the demo throughout the next few weeks so that it will be easier for us to complete this nearer to the end, just so we have all of the relevant content. For presentations, Kyle recommends that we use presentation software, ie. not Figma. So he suggested that we use either Google Slides or Keynote.
Kyle also advised that for printing our colophons, it would be better to group together to go to someone local to print them professionally.
