User flows are diagrams that display the complete path a user takes when using a product. The user flow lays out the user's movement through the product, mapping out every step the user takes—from the entry point right through to the final interaction.
User flow maps are an essential step in the UX design process as these maps will help me visualise and analyse the complete journey users take within a digital product. I feel that this step will be one of the most effective parts of the app development process as it will help me identify pain points, optimise navigation, enhance task efficiency, ensure consistency, align with user goals, facilitate communication, and support iterative design and testing.
I broke down the user flows into four scenarios…
User’s Main Goal: Successfully create a profile

User’s Main Goal: To find a canine companion, compatible with their lifestyle

User’s Main Goal: Hoping to encourage people to adopt

User’s Main Goal: Upload a profile for a new dog in their care.
