During Week 3 we were so lucky to be taken in by Hal and his team at Signifyd. We each shared a short 5-10 minute presentation explaining the briefs of our projects. The team shared some excellent feedback and it was also really great seeing the work all of my peers have been getting up to.

Some of the feedback given by the team was that I could really emphasise the presence of so many local shelters, to even just encourage people visiting, donating or volunteering. Essentially it will help put them on the map. As well as this it will be good to work on the other side. making it an easy & quick process for shelter workers to upload dogs profiles. Hal also suggested the inclusion of a DNA breed scanner, to ensure the correct breeds are shared as best known.

I felt very nervous before this morning. I think it’s because I haven’t presented in front of such a large group since last year during placement. However once I got started and got into the flow of it, it became fun and I really enjoyed it!
