All of these ideas are based on the idea of sustainability and how we have morphed into a very wasteful society. From the feedback given during my session, I am going to go for idea 1, the dog shelter app. This seemed to get the most positive reaction from the group and it has a broad scope, meaning I have a lot of sources to work from. I feel very excited by this idea, as I am a passionate dog owner and to be able to advocate for dog shelters and the wellbeing of animals in general, really bodes well with me. I am very excited to see where this will take me.
An additional note, I want to address how important it is to share your ideas with many people. This group work was so useful and helped with my confidence in my ideas. Group work is important when coming up with ideas for several reasons including the diverse perspectives that arise, collaborative creativity and real-time feedback. I also really enjoyed the process of hearing others’ ideas as well.
